"Gender Punks" - Kuku Schrapnell

Gender-nonconforming pirates, queer priests and transgender rebels come to life under Kuku Schrapnell's affectionate pen. The historical "Gender Punks" (Verbrecher Verlag 2026) knew how to live defiantly and boldly gave the finger to gender conventions. Schrapnell tells their biographies with an occasional wink, well clear of pathologising medical records.

Joined by literary mediator Tobi Schiller, Kuku Schrapnell reflects on how this patriarchal and capitalist world might become a better place.
