Music Monks - Tribute To Seeed & Peter Fox

The bass hits you like a wall, the groove runs through every fibre, towels and shirts fly over the crowd - and sweat drips from the ceiling: Music Monks are in town!

Germany's first and only SEEED & Peter Fox tribute band has been taking over dance halls, concert venues, festivals and open-air stages across the German-speaking world since late 2009 - always leaving the crowd in exactly two states: danced-out and elated. Essential for fans of dancehall, reggae, dub and German hip-hop.

What started as a spontaneous idea has long since grown into one of Germany's most successful tribute projects. The twelve musicians from the Rhine-Main region shake dancefloors for around two hours - from the North Sea to Italy, from Görlitz to the Ruhr.

The secret to their success? A meticulously crafted set performed by professional musicians in an authentic SEEED line-up, with a contagious mix of passion, groove and sheer joy of playing. It's no surprise that the Berlin originals have long taken notice and given their nod of approval.

The audience can expect a SEEED & Peter Fox best-of show that barely pauses for breath: from classics like "Ding", "Dickes B", "Stadtaffe", "Alles Neu", "Dancehall Caballeros", "Aufstehn" and "Waterpumpee" to crowd favourites like "Augenbling", "Lok auf 2 Beinen" and "Molotov".

Music Monks have always lived by their own code: "Trademarks? Yes! - Straitjacket? No, thanks!"

Rather than a straight copy, they deliver an energetic homage. As devoted fans of the original, they bring their own joy to the stage, weave in live remixes and celebrate every song with full commitment.
