Reading with Tim Frühling - "Suddenly Dead"

After successful readings in previous years, beloved weather presenter, moderator and author Tim Frühling returns to Bad Orb this summer as well.

On Friday, July 31, 2026 at 7:30 p.m., Bad Orb Kur GmbH invites you to a special crime novel reading at the Music Pavilion in Bad Orb's spa park.

In his characteristically entertaining manner, Tim Frühling presents his latest book, which will be published at the end of June 2026. It combines cozy crime with political reality - a gripping, humorous and timely crime novel with bite.

What it's about:
In the idyllic Rhön region, a dispute over the construction of a solar park sparks heated discussions and tensions among villagers. When a village mayor is found dead in a roadside ditch, detectives Daniel Rohde and Brigitte Schilling from Bad Hersfeld take over the investigation. They uncover a web of dark secrets, power interests and human depths - a crime novel that weaves social issues with humor, suspense and local flavor.

Tim Frühling is no stranger to Bad Orb. He has already delighted audiences here multiple times with his popular readings and charming wit. This year too, guests can look forward to an entertaining evening that skillfully combines crime, humor and enjoyment.

Fitting to the setting and theme of the new novel, a "Rhöner Ploatz" - a small regional delicacy - is included in the admission price, adding a culinary touch to the evening.
