Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie and ten-year-old prodigy Louis Zhang present Bach's Piano Concerto in D Minor
The young members of Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie (DSP) already impress with the high quality and excellence of their playing on major international stages and festivals, including the Golden Hall of the Vienna Philharmonic Society and the Festival of the World's Best Youth Orchestras in Berlin.
Louis Zhang - just ten years old and already a keyboard virtuoso! At age four, Louis Zhang began piano lessons with pianist Viera Fischer. He regularly participates in "Musikferien am Starnberger See", where musically gifted children and young people receive particularly intensive support under the patronage of renowned violinist Julia Fischer.
With Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, he already performed successfully last year under conductor Wolfgang Hentrich in Starnberg's Schlosshalle. This year he demonstrates his impressive talent here with Johann Sebastian Bach's Piano Concerto in D Minor.
The concert on July 16 carries the promising title "Divertimento".
Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie is supported by the Federal Minister for Education, Family, Seniors, Women and Youth.
