Every three months, Ortwin Bader-Iskraut brings the best musicians from Berlin's Songslams to Karlshorst! After proving themselves at the Kreuzberg heats, the most exciting up-and-coming newcomers of the Berlin music scene earn the coveted honour of performing at Best Of Songslam in Karlshorst. On the intimate studio stage of Kulturhaus Karlshorst, they compete in a tongue-in-cheek contest for a purely symbolic prize - plus fame and glory, naturally! A key feature: true to the Best Of format, every participant gets a full 10 minutes in the preliminary round.
