zwischen/stand - Young Reading Stage with Open Mic

Since 2010, our series "zwischen/miete" has brought debut books into conversation: organized and hosted by a student team, debut authors read from their freshly published novels, poetry collections, and essay volumes in shared flats, cafes, and gardens.

The current curators are taking a step back and searching for drafts still sleeping in drawers or dreams. Following an open call in spring, the fifth "zwischen/stand" presents new texts from Freiburg: whether finished, just beginning, or somewhere in between - unpublished works of all forms and genres are welcome. This evening showcases selected submissions, introduced by the "zwischen/miete" team. Missed the call? No problem: the open stage at the end invites spontaneous performances. Premiere fever guaranteed!
