Norbert Auste in Brazil - (Over)living on the Amazon

A 76-year-old Baden-Baden native, former PE teacher, sports author and enthusiast for well-planned adventures. One of his latest journeys has taken him to the Amazon.

Norbert Auste swam with river dolphins in the Rio Negro, fished for piranhas and completed a 1,100-kilometer river voyage from the Colombian border down to Manaus. He slept in hammocks and trekked through a protected area south of the Amazon.

What he experienced on the Amazon comes to the screen through bold stories, stunning photographs and infectious enthusiasm. Tales that draw you in completely, leaving you feeling as though you yourself had been there!
