Susanne Hasenstab & Emil Emaille - "Ochsenmaulsalat"

The curtain rises on perfectly ordinary madness! In her new programme "Ochsenmaulsalat", Aschaffenburg-based author, columnist and stage artist Susanne Hasenstab once again presents the absurd humour hidden in our everyday chatter. Together with her long-time stage partner Emil Emaille, she explores communicative dead ends and transforms conversations between spouses, acquaintances and strangers in cafés, at the breakfast table, or at the bus stop into absurdly comic mini-dramas.

This time it's about slippers, throat lozenges and robot vacuums, about natural wonders in Iceland and seniors in Advent, as well as a fateful discovery of red strings in the washing machine. Moreover, Susanne Hasenstab and Emil Emaille take the audience into a mysterious tavern in the Spessart, where on "Tartartag" at a late hour the boundaries between human and animal communication begin to blur.
