Life in Optima is, at any rate, optimal - if not downright perfect!

Every apartment in Optima is a fully equipped "smart home" in this ultra-modern, digitised, surveilled and equally smart residential complex called "Optima". There are wonderful neighbours, plenty of staff keeping Optima running, and AI-generated androids that make life easier for residents in their flats.

If you live in Optima, you've made it! At least that's how it looks to all the city's residents who applied for a flat there. For the Schröder family, however, the supposed dream prize turns out to be, well, perhaps not quite optimal for every resident after all.

"Willkommen in Optima" is a small comedy about a big topic. The question "are you just living, or are you really living?" is yesterday's news. Today the question should be: "are you still living, or are you already smarting?"!
