A princess loses her golden ball. The frog demands a promise before he will retrieve it for her. She must learn to keep her word and overcome her fear - and in the end she manages to transform the revolting frog into a prince.
Storytelling theatre is a special form of performance in which an experienced actress narrates a fairy tale while slipping in and out of all the different characters and roles. Children get an up-close look at the craft of acting - the rapid role changes the performer makes right before their eyes. They don't just listen to the story with bated breath; they take an active part. They can call out their thoughts and ideas to the actress on stage, and she weaves those impulses spontaneously into the plot.
At many points the children can even come up on stage and play along themselves, creating a lively, back-and-forth theatre experience between the storyteller and the audience.
