Malandain Ballet Biarritz has earned a devoted following well beyond Leverkusen. Following their last guest performance - a Stravinsky evening in May 2024 - the company returns to the Forum, ahead of Thierry Malandain's handover of artistic direction in 2027 to Martin Harriague, himself no stranger to Leverkusen audiences. Malandain's visually striking choreography, set to music by Antonio Vivaldi and his contemporary Giovanni Antonio Guido, opens the 2026/2027 dance season at the Forum.
