Paul Millns, the Norfolk-born veteran - and yes, that title fits a man who celebrated his 80th birthday at Schloss Goseck last year - brings a rare solo show featuring new and older songs from his vast catalogue. At the piano, his musical dexterity combined with a raw, smoky voice has won audiences over for more than four decades with intelligent, heartfelt songs. A celebrated appearance on the legendary "Rockpalast" in 1980 earned him a loyal following in Germany that has never wavered.

His poetry draws on sharp personal observation, thoughtful reflection on political and social issues, and a deep sense of life's values. On this solo tour, the singer, songwriter and pianist surprises with a mix of brand-new pieces, familiar hits and rarely played gems - all dedicated to the memory of his recently deceased long-time musical partner and friend, guitarist and blues harp player Butch Coulter.
