I Am The Fly, a duo performing behind fly masks, plays minimalist synth-punk that sounds like it was beamed in from 1978. Distorted, biting organ, a monotone drum machine and purist bass form the backbone - topped with vocals that swing between melodic and near-delirious, laced with resigned nihilism and half-remembered science trivia.
