ANNOTOPIA Festival 2026 - Lüdinghausen

The ANNOTOPIA Fantasy Festival takes place in 2026 for the first time across six locations - including a premiere and a long-awaited return. The organizer is noa entertainment from Harsewinkel (East Westphalia).

At Burg Vischering in Lüdinghausen, ANNOTOPIA opens its gates from August 21-23, 2026 for the eighth time. Other dates include Bad Mergentheim (May 1-3), Schloss Marienburg in Pattensen near Hanover (May 23-25, Whitsun weekend), Schloss Augustusburg - Saxony premiere (June 12-14), Ziegeleipark Mildenberg near Berlin (July 3-5), and Rotenburg an der Fulda as the season finale.

The program features up to 750 artists, merchants, and performers. Characters from fantasy, science fiction, and history are represented: fairies, elves, dwarves, witches, dragons, dinosaurs, characters from "Star Wars" and "The Lord of the Rings", Vikings, pirates, Romans, cowboys, Native Americans, Victorian steampunks, and medieval knights. Culinary offerings are also part of the festival. At previous locations, up to 10,000 visitors gathered during a festival weekend.
