Vernissage - Erold Sommer - Live in Farbe - Figurative Painting / Multimedia Performance - With Treseninsolvenz + pihv (formerly Jochen)

"Live in Farbe" is a processual, modular exhibition in which paintings emerge in direct response to live music and keep transforming throughout. Past live paintings meet new performances, building an urban space between intuition, choreography and multimedia layering. The exhibition is not a static format but a living system that grows with every artistic encounter.

In a collaborative multimedia performance, painter Erold Sommer meets musicians on stage. While the bands are enclosed inside construction fences, their silhouettes are painted in real time, driven by the musical impulses. At the end of the performance, the sound of the bands fades onto a cotton canvas.

Treseninsolvenz from Friedrichshain plays punky garage pop between walls of fuzz and sugary melodies.

pihv (papa, ich habs versucht) grew out of the fun-punk band Jochen in 2025. So is the fun over? Yes - their debut album is called Arbeit (Work). But it stays loud and charged, with the occasional desperate laugh thrown in.
