Musical Emotions

Musical performers Maren Beiner and Alexander Voß present their concert "Musical Emotions", featuring songs from well-known shows such as Aladdin, Wicked and Starlight Express - alongside numbers from lesser-staged musicals including Dracula, Secret Garden and Robin Hood.

Maren Beiner trained in singing, acting and dance at the Stage School Hamburg. As a soloist she has appeared at the Altonaer Theater, the Laeiszhalle, Kampnagel and the Hamburger Schauspielhaus in "Die kleine Meerjungfrau". She toured with the ensemble "Von Engeln und Dämonen" alongside Ethan Freeman, Yngve Gasoy Romdal and Maricel, and also took the one-person show "Der kleine Zahlenteufel" on a nationwide tour of Germany. Beyond the stage, she works as a vocal coach, choir director and singing teacher with a focus on musical theatre and pop.

Alexander Voß studied musical theatre at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna under Michele Friedman. His credits include JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, GODSPELL, BABYTALK and DER BETTELSTUDENT; he earned particular acclaim as "Baloo" in DSCHUNGELBUCH at GOP Varieté Hannover. In December 2007 he was a finalist at the national singing competition for musical theatre in Berlin. He is now based in the Karlsruhe area, where he works as a vocal coach, choreographer and choir director and recorded his solo CD "Everything that I am".
