D'Bavaresi
Ortspitze Passau, Germany

Three colorful characters on the Bavarian music scene. Sebastian Horn from Upper Bavaria, frontman and lyricist of "Dreiviertelblut" and "Bananafishbones", is known for his unique bass voice and dark humor. Mathias Kellner from the Upper Palatinate is one of Bavaria's most renowned singer-songwriters. His distinctive, powerful voice and seemingly inexhaustible repertoire of world hits translated into Bavarian form the foundation of this wild collective. Multi-instrumentalist Otto Schellinger from Lower Bavaria (among other things, accompanist to Claudia Koreck and Nick Woodland) completes this anarchic Bavarian band.
Here, no one holds back - neither in the announcements nor in the interpretation of Bavarian hits. An 80s New Wave version of Fredl Fesl competes with a new take on Hans Söllner's cult song "Marihuanabaam" - the live version on TikTok has over 200,000 views. They ruthlessly rework hit after hit ("Wei I Di mog", "Resi, I hoi di mit meim Traktor ob") or sing them with a loving wink to the heavens ("Nix mitnehma", "Frosch im Hois").
Whether the band reveres world hits or ridicules them - it always happens honestly and with love. Tears of laughter and singing along are guaranteed. At the Landesgartenschau or in Munich's Schlachthof, audiences are amazed and thrilled. Humor without boundaries that not only hits the mark but goes straight to the heart.
D'Bavaresi offer an evening where the restrained hand is used for slapping knees. Guaranteed Bavarian. But genuine. With guts.
