Serge has bought a monochrome oil painting - white with white stripes. And expensive, very expensive. This painting ignites a quarrel between three friends. Serge is thrilled with it, his friend Marc thinks it is simply "crap", and Yvan refuses to take sides so as not to fall out with either of them.
Deep rifts open up between the men, and their long-standing, close friendship is suddenly called into question.

The painting acts as a catalyst through which the playwright, with great subtlety and psychological precision, wittily and comically dissects a situation that puts three men - their feelings, their sensibilities, their friendship, and their lives so far - to the test.

Directed by Carl-Hermann Risse, the Poetenpack theatre brings this hit comedy by arguably the most-performed contemporary playwright to the stage.
