Manhattan Skyline - A Tribute to A-HA

manhattan skyline brings the best of over three decades of music by Norwegian band a-ha to the stage in a full-length evening show. Expect a carefully curated programme of the finest a-ha songs, from the early 1980s right up to the present day.

The Norwegian pop-rock band a-ha disbanded in 2010 after nearly 30 years, during which they wrote a string of number-one hits and sold more than 80 million records. The band fronted by vocalist Morten Harket gave the world timeless songs like "Take on Me", "The Sun Always Shines on T.V." and "Foot of the Mountain".

On 24 March 2015, a-ha announced at a press conference at the Norwegian Embassy in Berlin that they planned to release a new album called "Cast in Steel" on 4 September 2015.

It was another great a-ha track that inspired English singer Marcus Baldwin to convince fellow musicians to take on the musical legacy of the famous Norwegians: "Manhattan Skyline". Since 2011, four musicians (and occasionally a female vocalist) have been performing under that name on stages across Germany, keeping the spirit of a-ha alive.
