Sebastiao Salgado: Amazônia - Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Simone Menezes

The Stuttgarter Philharmoniker brings a special concert to Munich on Saturday, 13 February 2027 at Der Gasteig HP8, pairing photographs by Sebastiao Salgado from the Amazon with orchestral music conducted by Simone Menezes. This is the fourth of four German dates on the tour, which also includes performances in Alpirsbach, Stuttgart, and Fürth. Gasteig HP8 serves as the temporary home of the cultural centre in Munich's Sendling district while the main building undergoes renovation. The concert merges the visual work of the renowned photographer with live orchestral sound, creating a distinctive artistic experience.
