Musicians Jürgen Gutmann and Manuel Dempfle focus primarily on the early songs of poet Leonard Cohen, works shaped by his distinctive voice and guitar accompaniment.

They deliberately avoid any theatrical elements and do not imitate Cohen - instead, they let the music speak for itself while sharing stories about the songs and Cohen himself.

The evening is rounded out with selected songs by friends and contemporaries such as Simon & Garfunkel and Bob Dylan. This creates not only a compelling concert but also, at times, mysterious sanctuaries for hidden memories, broken hearts, and wounded souls - a bittersweet tribute to the great Leonard Cohen.
