Can it really be a coincidence that modern high-tech washing machines give up the ghost right when the warranty expires? The colourful bunch of people who end up at one of the last remaining launderettes in Wanne-Eickel certainly don't think so. The place is run by Peter König from Saxony, who brought along ancient machines that still wash, rinse and spin as reliably as they ever did.

After some initial squabbles and despite all their apparent differences, the neighbours decide to give the computer-obsessed consumer world a good scrubbing.

House author Sigi Domke knows what audiences want. He has once again put hilariously funny lines on paper, and the wonderful Mondpalast ensemble brings them to life under the direction of Thomas Rech in a way that will have you in stitches.
