The annual general meeting of a tennis club in small-town Germany faces what seems like a trivial question: the club needs a new grill - a mere formality, really. Until someone suggests buying a separate grill for the club's only Turkish member.

This well-intentioned proposal sparks heated debate and puts the club's cosy world under serious strain. What rights must a majority grant a minority? Is barbecuing part of German cultural heritage? And aren't vegetarians, when you think about it, a kind of religious community too?

Jacobs and Netenjakob, known for "Die Wochenshow", "Ladykracher", "Das Amt" and "Stromberg", have turned this into a comedy that the Badische Zeitung described as: "Plenty of applause for nearly two hours of top-class theatrical entertainment - and plenty to think about afterwards."
