A double evening that stirs the heart! Luck / Unluck brings together two of three artists in residence at Gauthier Dance. Above all, it is a programme with real substance. Both pieces rest on a powerful contrast and playful tension - with balancing justice in the mix!

After the new artist in residence at Gauthier Dance appeared in The Seven Sins as a volunteer for the sin of pure sloth, Aszure Barton now dedicates herself to the theme of luck. Hofesh Shechter takes on the counterpart - unluck. A choice that surely sparks the imagination of many. For Shechter's dark, visually rich dance worlds seem almost predestined to grapple with misfortune.

Both artists in residence, however, definitely have "Luck" on their side. They get to create not only at Theaterhaus Stuttgart, but also at one of the most idyllic places in the world - the Orsolina 28 Art Foundation. After their last stay, the company can hardly wait to return to this dance paradise.
