Perlen aus 45 Jahren

Michael Gaedt was born in 1957 and turns 68 this year. Anyone born in 1968 turns 57. This mathematical curiosity is all the excuse Michael Gaedt needs to throw himself a very personal birthday solo show at the Theaterhaus in Stuttgart.

And there is plenty to celebrate. For 35 years "Die Kleine Tierschau" tore through the Theaterhaus, with him always at the centre of it. For four years "Onkel Rock'n'Roll" fired their power-chord rockets from the stage. And for more than eight years now "Kuhnle Gaedt & Baisch" have been racing from one sold-out Theaterhaus Stuttgart to sold-out shows across Germany.

Now Michael Gaedt brings together solo numbers from "Tierschau", "Onkel" and "KGB", along with entertaining stories from 16 years playing "Schrotti" in the ZDF crime series "Soko Stuttgart". Expect songs and tap dance, schlager and rascally routines, hits spanning 45 years and a whole lot of Michael Gaedt. Somewhere between "Iggy Pop unplugged" and "Leonard Cohen on speed". Michael Gaedt - only genuine with the yellow glasses!
