QUEER MUSIC - Bernd Nauwartat and Sascha Ullrich

Britney Spears, Elton John, and Helene Fischer - just a few of the icons of the LGBTQ+ world. Bernd Nauwartat and Sascha Ullrich invite you to celebrate these artists together. An evening full of wit, emotion, and outstanding music awaits you - as colorful as the queer community itself. The duo is accompanied by Dieter Scheithe (piano) and Gerd Nemet (percussion).

Bernd Nauwartat is one of the most recognizable voices at Capitol Mannheim. As the lead actor in over ten musical productions, he performed on their stage for more than a decade. His audience has remained equally loyal. Bernd Nauwartat is a man with a gentle voice, but as in "Ladies Night," he can really let loose.

Sascha Ullrich refuses to be pigeonholed - neither vocally nor stylistically. Though rooted in rock and pop, he feels equally at home in musical theatre and gospel. He impressed audiences in the Capitol production "Jesus Christ Superstar" in the role of Peter, as a soloist with the Celebration Gospel Choir, and as a singer with bands like Me and the HEAT.

The musicians are well known to Capitol visitors. For many years they have come together in various projects. But even for those who don't yet know them, we warmly recommend this evening!
