Extrawurst - Open Air - for the Last Time! — Theater Ravensburg, Ravensburg
Description was written before the event

A comedy by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob

The annual meeting of the Lengenheide Tennis Club is nearly over. Before the buffet opens, the members need to quickly vote on purchasing a new grill. It should be a simple formality, but then Melanie Pfaff interrupts the vote with a question: shouldn't they buy a second grill for their Muslim members, since they cannot place their food on a grate that has held pork? Yet Erol Oturan, the club's only Muslim member, doesn't want any special treatment or a separate grill. But Melanie won't let it go. Soon the discussion about tolerance and respect threatens not only the club's harmony but also the physical safety of everyone involved...

This satirical comedy about a tennis club meeting spiraling out of control is a crowd favourite and appears for the third time in Ravensburg's open-air programme. What makes the stage version different from the film adaptation starring Hape Kerkeling is a special twist: the audience members are here as club members, directly part of the action, and their votes actually determine how the story unfolds.
