Das Mixtape - World Premiere

A relationship revue with the soundtrack of the 80s.

Kathy and Lenny are going through a divorce. While clearing out their shared apartment, they rediscover an old mixtape they recorded together as a young couple in the 1980s - she recorded side A, he recorded side B. Both want to keep the cassette and neither will give it up. So they decide to battle for it - and ask themselves a not entirely serious question: should they have kept listening to 80s music? Would they have stayed together as a couple if they had?

They try it out. Playing and dancing, they relive the most important stages of their relationship once more, this time set to the songs from the mixtape. In the end, it's not just about who gets to keep the cassette - but also whether 80s music could have saved their love.
