Märkisches Idyll Gröben — Klubhaus Ludwigsfelde, Ludwigsfelde

The Mark region is rich in swampy lowlands that often lie shrouded in thick fog at dusk. There dwells Graul - a fog giant who wreaks havoc. Around the 1870s, Graul was frequently sighted in Gröben, according to local legend. The very name evokes fear and dread. But what connection do the legendary secrets of this fog giant have to the idyllic fishing hamlet of Gröben?

Just 400 metres beyond Gröben, towards the Nuthe river, lies the Gröben fishing settlement, first mentioned around 1500. Old fishermen's cottages still stand there today, and visitors are captivated by the unique landscape of the Nuthe and Nieplitz rivers with their distinctive flora and fauna.

Filmmakers clearly share this fascination. The remarkable estate has repeatedly served as a backdrop for film and television productions. And at the Gasthaus Naase, stars come and go.
