Waves, Water & Wonders - Reading Afternoon & Exhibition Visit
Literaturhaus München, Munich, Germany
Pedagogical guidance: Anne Wagner
Reading: Janosch Fries (Schauburg)
The sea crashing against rocks, a river flowing quietly through a valley, and storms that sometimes stir everything up: water in Moomin Valley can glitter peacefully or rage wildly; it is a vital part of the world where the Moomins live. The stories we hear this afternoon tell of summer swimming, adventures on and in the sea, and rain that sometimes pours and sometimes only drips softly. After the reading scenes, child-friendly entertainment, and light snacks, children can explore the exhibition further with fresh eyes.
"Sometimes unusual things are quite good. I mean, spooky stories and getting wet and all that..." Tove Jansson "A DROLL COMPANY"
