Waiting for Mel - Female Fronted Blues Rock

"Waiting for Mel" moves between blues, rock and swing - playing classics, lesser-known pieces and original compositions. The band from the greater Nuremberg area also brings their own lyrics, giving the set a personal edge.

The groove is laid down by Andreas Dürr (drums) and Joachim Schrätz (bass) as the rhythm section, while Claus Dürr (guitar) and Dieter Rösner (saxophone) contribute powerful riffs and expressive solos. Frontwoman Melanie (Mel) Söllch (vocals, keys) leads the show with a clear, soulful voice. The band has been playing together for over ten years.
