Waiting for Mel - Female fronted Bluesrock

"Waiting for Mel" is a band moving between blues, rock and swing, performing both classics and lesser-known pieces alongside original compositions. The ensemble from the Nuremberg area brings its own interpretation to the songs and adds personal touches through meaningful lyrics. Andreas Dürr (dr) and Joachim Schrätz (b) provide the right groove, creating a solid foundation for the band's broad spectrum. Claus Dürr (git) and Dieter Rösner (sax) contribute powerful riffs and expressive solos. Frontwoman Melanie (Mel) Söllch (voc, key) presents the "Waiting for Mel" programme with a clear, heartfelt voice and individual interpretations. The band has been playing together for over ten years and has successfully established itself both as a live act and online. The wait for Mel has been worth it.
