The Little Mole Who Wanted to Know Who Pooped on His Head
Theater Fadenschein, Braunschweig, Germany
Table theatre with live music, inspired by the classic picture book by Werner Holzwarth - for children from age 3, duration: 40 minutes.
Oh no! It's absolutely not okay to poop on someone else's head, especially someone smaller than you. Every mole is somebody after all. A terrible injustice - there's only one thing to do: get up and find him. The matter must be cleared up.
A peculiar tale of furred and feathered creatures, brought to life with puppets, music and a single performer.
Press: "Sometimes you don't need much to delight the little ones. ... Maren Kaun's greatest achievement was guiding her audience through the story in a very unobtrusive way, stepping back and trusting entirely in the effect of her puppets. ... Her 'stage' was a frame from which countless animals that the mole sought were pulled out, or which through quick manipulation represented the body of an animal puppet. Minimal effort, maximum impact." - Rheinlandpfalz
