In a quiet sanatorium, nurses are dying under unexplained circumstances - the only other residents are three apparently mad physicists. But appearances deceive: behind it all lies a struggle for the "world formula", which, once discovered, must be secured at any cost.

Some inventions would have been better off never seeing the light of day - they could save humanity or destroy it, and they can spiral out of control. But what if they get made anyway?
