What one person feels in every fibre of their body, another would delete from their playlist without a second thought. But one thing is always clear: music is part of who we are.

What about those who only listen to the music of their own heart, settled into their solitude? Five lonely figures end up in a cafe. A mother cast out by her family, her bitter son whose world exists on internet forums, a princess who has lost everything, a drag queen chasing the spotlight, and a ghost who no longer knows who they were in life. They all sing their songs of heartache and world-weariness. The voices take on many different shapes in songs like "Conny Kramer" and "Allein Allein", drawing on lyrics by Herbert Grönemeyer, Moby, and K.I.Z.

A song evening for anyone aged 14 and up who wants to feel big emotions through music - or simply let them in.
