Ten language artists take the stage for an unusual kind of concert - a speech concert! They debate, discuss and exchange views, argue and deliberate, bicker and banter, negotiate and quarrel.

Turning by turns ironic, sincere, angry, and conciliatory - sometimes forte, sometimes pianissimo - they tackle the big questions of life and attempt a kind of stocktaking: from their looks to their beer consumption, everything about them is perfectly average. And they are comfortable in the middle of society, because being ordinary is a point of honour for them.

If only those nagging questions would leave them alone: What is normal, and what am I? Who do I actually want to be in my life? Where does all this fear keep coming from? Who is shaping the future here? And how do you get a decent perspective on any of it? One thing is certain amid all this (verbal) chaos - everything would be different if Elvis were still alive.
