Family Concert: ROBERT SCHUMANN TRIES TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS
Rudolf-Steiner-Haus Dahlem, Berlin, Germany
17.5 €
Composer Robert Schumann is desperate. He has just married his beloved Clara and together they have six children. Now he sits working on a promising Christmas composition, but Clara insists he should write music for their little angels instead - and he has no idea how. "Scenes from Childhood" is the title Clara has suggested! Perhaps the children in the audience can help him out?
This is how Schumann's original "Kinderszenen" gradually come to life - and at the very end, Clara herself makes a personal appearance... A wonderful stage spectacle full of music (and plenty of movement!) with Juliane Rothmaler, Leander Modersohn and Andreas Peer Kähler.
Ages 5 and up - 60 minutes
