Speichergruppe Rettungsboot presents: Awesome Scampis / Bitume

Awesome Scampis:
Awesome Scampis from the Ruhr area have been playing ska and pop-punk with brass and German-language lyrics since founding the band in 2005. A brass trio of trumpet, trombone and saxophone defines their sound, while the lyrics range from everyday life, love and friendship to depression and political topics - always with a wink and a dose of self-deprecation. They are often compared to Sondaschule, Rantanplan or Farin Urlaub.

Since then the band has played countless shows at home and abroad, on festival and club stages alongside Sondaschule, Russkaja, Montreal and Rantanplan, and as support for international acts such as Mad Caddies, Jaya the Cat and Buster Shuffle. Festivals like Eselrock (Wesel), Juicy Beats (Dortmund) and Rock am Beckenrand (Wolfshagen im Harz) have helped them reach a wider audience. New material is planned for spring 2026.

Bitume:
BITUME sends out emotionally charged, wide-open melancholic songs from the north - reliably and consistently, a long-standing insider tip for many.
