Dave Goodman

Dave Goodman - an exceptional artist often described as a musical chameleon. His rich and varied music draws from early influences (he began playing guitar at age 12, captivated by blues and rock, later jazz) and from Anglo-American and Irish-Celtic traditions inherited through his mother.

After years in Canada and the USA and musical studies, he settled in Germany in the late 1990s. There he wrote his first compositions and developed as a singer-songwriter while perfecting his phenomenal technique on acoustic guitar. His impressive voice ranges from tender balladic tones to bluesy glissando.

Eleven highly acclaimed solo albums, DVDs, and educational publications, joint concerts with John Lee Hooker and Jeff Healey, and numerous tours and festivals across many European countries, the USA, Canada, England, and Germany testify to his remarkable activity. This international blues guitarist and songwriter's concerts are high-energy live shows brimming with humour and wit, taking audiences on an emotional journey through tender ballads and amusing or moving stories.
