This solo performance explores the life stage of women from the age of 50 - a phase that society often marginalises or reduces to stereotypical images such as "the menopause". The aim is to portray this period in a nuanced, multi-voiced way, free from tired clichés.

At its core lies the tension between letting go and holding on - to things, ideas, ideals and dreams. The perspective is not retrospective but firmly rooted in the present: in insights, contradictions and the personal and social struggles of a woman in her mid-fifties.
