BachOrgelFestival 2026 - Fantasie

Wolfgang Zerer from Hamburg performs at Thomaskirche zu Leipzig on Saturday, 15 August 2026 at 15:00, closing the BachOrgelFestival 2026 cycle. This is the final concert of the Saturday series that ran from July. Zerer plays works by Muffat, Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Alain on the church's renowned Gothic organ. Thomaskirche, a 13th-century church, was home to Johann Sebastian Bach, who served as cantor here from 1723 until his death. His grave lies within the church. Admission: 15 €. Zerer has one more German date scheduled - in November in Halle.
