Frank Lüdecke - Träumt weiter!

Frank Lüdecke's current cabaret programme
Need someone to think for you? Perfect! Frank Lüdecke has spent so long pondering this world that you can simply adopt his views. Convenient, especially in these confusing, murky times. When so many feel uncertain: is it still okay to talk to people who hold different opinions? And why is the right opinion so rarely found among others? Politics doesn't make it easier either. If the government has almost 30 different special funds - are we even still in debt? Why are we placing our bets on the military again while wanting to abolish the Federal Youth Games at the same time?
And then there's artificial intelligence: who will win the race between artificial intelligence and natural stupidity? It's still undecided. But there are early signs: government offices are unreachable because citizens no longer own fax machines. Students struggle to decipher letters even though teachers regularly write learning-objective-control-conversation protocols. What's going wrong here?
Frank Lüdecke explores our chaotic landscape of life with his characteristic topicality and surprising wit. A recipient of numerous small-arts prizes (Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis, Deutscher Kabarettpreis, Bayerischer Kabarettpreis, cabaret prizes from North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony, and many more) and director of the cabaret theatre DIE STACHELSCHWEINE in Berlin, he doesn't shy away from incisively linking politics, philosophy and humour for two entertaining hours. Music too, as always.
At the end of his analysis, Lüdecke has good news and bad news for you. The bad: he doesn't quite know himself. The good: despite all adversities, he remains an optimist. And he advises: "Träumt weiter!".
