Ella, a 42-year-old psychologist, receives a mysterious visitor. The guest appears to be a prominent figure, a high-ranking intelligence official, or someone equally significant who wishes to remain anonymous. But it soon becomes clear that this is none other than God himself. And that's not all: God is in deep depression and plans to end his life - and with it, his creation. Ella has just one hour to overcome her inner conflict with God, change his plans, and save the world.

Anat Gov has written OH GOTT - an amusing, intelligent, and moving play. Gov ranks among Israel's most significant playwrights. Her plays have achieved great success both nationally and internationally. OH GOTT was selected in 2010 by the European Theatre Convention as one of the "120 best Contemporary European Plays" and has been translated into many languages. Anat Gov died in December 2012 at age 58. In 2024, OH GOTT premiered in German at Landestheater Linz.
