OH GOTT! - *sold out* Introduction 20:30 — Zimmertheater Tübingen, Tübingen

All performances since the premiere in November are sold out. Due to high demand, an additional performance on July 5 at 3 p.m.!

Ella, a 42-year-old psychologist, receives a mysterious visitor. The visitor appears to be a prominent figure, a high-ranking intelligence official, or someone equally significant who wishes to remain anonymous. But soon it becomes clear that this is none other than God himself. And that's not all: God is in deep depression and plans to end his life - and with it, his creation. Ella has just one hour to overcome her inner conflict with God, change his plans, and thus save the world.

Anat Gov has written OH GOTT - an entertaining, intelligent, and moving play. Gov is among Israel's most significant playwrights. Her works have achieved great success both nationally and internationally. OH GOTT was selected in 2010 by the European Theatre Convention as one of the "120 best Contemporary European Plays" and has been translated into many languages. Anat Gov died in December 2012 at the age of 58. In 2024, OH GOTT had its German-language premiere at Landestheater Linz.
