A debut that won us over: reading with Cora Wucherer

On 29 September, Cora Wucherer comes to Eimsbüttel. Her debut novel "All die Farben, all das Licht" (out 11 July 2026) follows sisters Juna and Martha: seventeen-year-old Juna dreams of becoming a painter, but a rare eye condition threatens her future. Martha, four years younger, is trying to step out of her gifted sister's shadow.

When Juna becomes determined to see a painting by her idol Lotte Laserstein in Malmö, Martha secretly plans a trip for the two of them. On this road trip, the sisters face not only their own fears and hopes, but also each other in a new light.
