Trio Wildes Holz made a name for itself by playing rock and pop on "proper" instruments - wooden ones, naturally! The humble recorder takes centre stage, lending this music a truly distinctive flavour.

If it works for rock classics, why not for the "real" classics too? So Wildes Holz turns to Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms and Telemann - playing their music as if it were rock. Which, in a way, it is. Served with woody humour, virtuosity and a generous dose of self-deprecation, these works come alive in a whole new way.
