The Mousetrap

A woman has been murdered in London. Police search for a person "of medium height, wearing a dark coat, light scarf and felt hat" - but on this freezing winter day, such descriptions fit many. Mollie and Giles Ralston open their inherited Monkswell Manor near London as a guest house.
As the snow falls heavier, worries mount: will the pipes freeze? Will supplies last if they become snowbound? The expected guests arrive despite the snow-covered roads - a gathering of complete strangers with vastly different personalities, now forced to stay together for an indefinite period. The snow cuts off all hope of departure.
When the police send a sergeant on skis, tension rises. The next body soon appears. Who will next fall into the mousetrap - the killer or the next victim?
THE MOUSETRAP has run continuously since 1952 and is recognized as the longest-running stage play in the world. We thank Concord Theatricals GmbH on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. for the performance rights.
