Martin Rassau turns his attention in this programme - together with Bernhard Ottinger - to a much-neglected species: the suffering man. Rassau has just crossed the critical threshold of 50 and knows what he's talking about: in the middle of life, the first ailments appear, a massive case of high blood pressure joins the party, and as if that weren't enough, a monstrous slipped disc strikes.

Before Rassau and Ottinger can say "OUCH", they meet in a rehabilitation clinic - as two completely different types, whom even the most prominent demigod in a white coat can no longer help.

The comedy casts a witty, charmingly cheeky look at Franconian men in the throes of a midlife crisis, before and after their spa treatments.
