Thunder Bae & Julika
Der Hof, Düsseldorf, Germany
THUNDER BAE is a solo artist from Düsseldorf who grew up on industrial music and jazz. Her sound sits between art-pop with progressive rock undertones and vocals that border on devotional. Since going fully independent, she has played around 40 shows in 2025 and now produces all her material herself. Her music has racked up roughly 6.9 million streams, with her strongest listener bases in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, London, and Sydney. Alongside her solo work, she is the new lead singer of the band Propaganda - a joint album released in 2024 made waves in the underground scene, and 2025 brought remixes from Moby, Rhys Fulber, and Jimi Tenor among others.
This concert - her second hometown show at the Ratinger Hof - sees her present her 14-track debut album. Thematically it circles around emancipation, self-empowerment, anger, and dignity. Musically it ranges from dream-pop and power ballads to krautrock influences and delicate electronics.
Special guest Julika joins the bill: she reached the final of the German ESC national selection in 2025, performing in front of a TV audience of millions. Her one-woman dark-pop show built around keyboard sounds stands on its own - this is no mere support slot.
