Jason Moran

Jason Moran brings a solo recital to Bochum on Thursday, 16 July 2026 at 20:00 in the Anneliese Brost Musikforum Ruhr. The concert hall, which opened in 2016 within a restored medieval church, seats approximately 900 listeners and serves as home to the Bochumer Symphoniker. Moran will alternate his own compositions with works by Thelonious Monk, Fats Waller, and other jazz masters. This is one of three German dates on his tour-performances also take place in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and Leipzig. The venue's Gothic architecture provides a distinctive setting for the evening. Tickets are 29 euros.
