Woodlands Bäckafall at Folkclub Prisma e.V. Pforzheim - Folk from Sweden and Ireland

Woodlands Bäckafall is a quartet made up of two duos, both well established in the Swedish and Celtic music scenes. The four musicians blend the spirit of Swedish midsummer with the lively atmosphere of an Irish pub.

With four voices, five languages and a colourful mix of nyckelharpa, Celtic harp, fiddle and guitar, the band breathes fresh life into traditional music from Ireland, Scotland and Sweden. Songs in Gaelic, French, English and Swedish are woven together with driving reels, sweeping waltzes and haunting ballads.
